At the time of writing this review, the Cybertablet Z12 from Adesso is the only widescreen graphics tablet we have reviewed. With an active area of 10 x 6.25 inches, the Z12 certainly has lots of digital real estate to let you draw in photoshop or arrange in illustrator, but does it match up to the similarly priced Wacom tablets?
The Z12 is lightweight, slim and nice to hold and use and the battery powered pen is also well designed and thought out and rests nicely in your hand. It is perfect for either an adult, or a child to use. The tablet also has the usual quick access buttons to bring up any settings or options you use most often.
It performed very well in our tests and we are happy to recommend the Z12 to anyone who is looking to come into the middle of the graphics tablet market. Sure, they are not as nice and as well rounded and polished as a Wacom Intuos4, for example, but you also get what you pay for and with this Adesso pen tablet, you will not be disappointed.

Reviewer: suz,
i borrowed a friend's wacom tablet before i bought this. the rate of reaction between pen and pad is noticably slower and skips more on the adesso. but it is also remarkably cheaper. for the patient artist the adesso is good for a cheap starter. but if you plan to use it professionally and need it to be quick and efficient, i would suggest investing in a wacom, which are top of the line, and very expensive in comparison
